Effective Decision-Making
This Effective Decision-Making Training Module is designed to help managers and members of worker cooperatives strengthen their participatory decision-making practices. Through this training, participants will explore decision-making roles, systems for documenting decisions, and strategies to clarify decision-making power within democratic workplaces. By the end of the module, you will have the tools and understanding needed to foster effective, collaborative decision-making in your organization.
Your Instructor
Tori Kuper is the Director for the School for Democratic Management, where she equips worker cooperative managers and technical assistance providers with the tools and training they need to succeed. With over 15 years of experience building democratic organizations, Tori co-founded BreadHive Worker Cooperative and Cooperation Buffalo, revitalizing Buffalo’s worker cooperative movement. She has held leadership roles in the solidarity economy, including seven years at New Economy Coalition. Tori serves on multiple boards supporting the cooperative and solidarity economy sector and holds a Master’s Degree from NYU.
